I'm guessing you didn't grow up on Luster's Pink Hair Lotion or Ogx's Olive Oil moisturizers. I think BB also had a pink moisturizer. I mentioned those products because that's what I think of when I see a hair lotion. Your hair is slick, so you don't need a lotion. A lotion is for black textures that aren't slick and tend to get dry.

From all the reviews the product is not all of that, so let me stick to my old products that works wonders on my thick curly hair. Think she rush to get out this line.

I used the gel on top of the cream, just about a nickel size amount using the praying hands method and it held without any flakes. The key is to scrunch out the crunch before it’s 100% dry, and I diffused for about 10mins then air dried a little more. But I mostly do twists, while my hair is growing out. It’s a low manipulation style and it helps stretch out my curls.
